The instruments were returned with a note reading "SORRY, I BEEN DRUNK, MERRY CHRISTMAS" written by owner Buzzy Levine. The stolen mandols were valued at $3,500 and $4,250 respectively. Police are investigating the crime but haven't made any arrests.
