We begin today with bad, bad news: Tupperware is worse for the 'ware' after a string of difficult years. Our sister publication, the Orlando Business Journal, reports that the company's latest filings with the SEC cast significant doubt on its financial future.

Tupperware has 13,500 employees, per the Orlando Business Journal. It recorded $1.3 billion in revenue and a $14.2 million loss in 2022, the most recent data available.

BBJ staff will now be accepting recommendations for good reusable container brands to prepare for the worst.

Now for the news.

SunMed Growers will be out and about this week with Hollywood actor and comedian Jim Belushi as the two launch a cannabis partnership. Belushi’s brand, called Belushi’s Farm, will offer flower and pre-rolled products in addition to collaborating with SunMed on Blues Brother’s brand, which Belushi calls “the working man’s cannabis,” according to a press release. SunMed and Belushi will be travelling around Maryland Wednesday and Thursday promoting the partnership, meeting with dispensary employees and fans.

After the Key Bridge collapsed, Tradepoint Atlantic stepped in to take cargo bound for the blocked Port of Baltimore. The massive logistics center announced in an update yesterday that over the next fifteen days, six regularly scheduled ships and nine redirected ones will arrive at Tradepoint's marine terminal. The ships are carrying 10,000 cars which will be unloaded and processed by members of the International Longshoremen's Association Local 333, whose jobs are uncertain for as long as the port remains closed. Tradepoint has also cleared five acres of space to hold debris and wreckage pulled out of the Patapsco as the cleanup continues. In other supply chain news news, rail line CSX has added an alternate route to avoid the Port of Baltimore, CNBC reports.

Atlanta-based Floor & Decor is opening its second Baltimore warehouse and store this week. The facility at 75 Dover Rd. This year’s winning work of Preakness Stakes art has been announced. Why national energy firms have joined forces to fight this Md. bill

Baltimore-based Constellation Energy and Houston-based NRG have raised concerns about a consumer protection bill that would increase regulations around how companies sell energy to individual households throughout the state, our Garrett Dvorkin reports. The legislation would cap how much companies could charge customers, limit contract lengths and put an end to what the state has deemed predatory practices in the industry. Here's why the companies say that's an issue.
