A man was transported by airlift to a local trauma center following a stabbing Friday night in Edgewood Harford County detectives were called to the 1600 block of Swallow Crest Drive in Edgewood around 9 p.m. for a report of a stabbing and discovered William Merrill McKinney, 39, suffering from multiple stab wounds to the upper body. McKinney was immediately given medical attention by Deputies and they continued life saving efforts before he was airlifted to a local trauma center where he is currently listed in critical, but stable condition. Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division Detectives canvased the areas around Swallows Crest Drive throughout the evening for witnesses and are still working to establish suspect(s) and a motive in the case. One man is in critical, but stable condition after a stabbing occurred on Friday night in Edgewood.
