Laurel man accused of murdering his mother inside their home
The Laurel man was taken into custody after the late Saturday incident. A 22-year-old man from Laurel, Maryland, has been arrested for the murder of his mother, Maria Hernandez-Gonzalez, who was found unconscious during a welfare check. The suspect is being held on no bond. Police believe the killing occurred during an argument.
