Baltimore Motorbike Crash on North Avenue Leaves Rider Critical
A motorbike rider is fighting for his life after a crash on one of Baltimore's most dangerous streets. A 33-year-old man riding a motorbike was left in critical condition after a collision on E. North Avenue in Baltimore, according to police. The rider was taken to an area hospital and all occupants of the vehicles involved remained at the scene. The collision occurred on a corridor with a poor record, with nearly 60% of Baltimore's most serious traffic crashes occurring on just 7% of the city's roadways. The severity of the crash has not yet been disclosed. This follows another fatal two-wheeled collision in Baltimore this year, with a 37-year old man riding an SUV being killed in a similar incident on a Tuesday evening. Maryland has recorded 62 motorcyclist deaths so far in 2026, approaching the roughly 80 the state typically sees in a full year.
