A Baltimore native will lead Truist's business banking strategy across Maryland and Greater Washington

Truist Financial (NYSE: TFC) has named Alex Bartlett regional president for Greater Washington and Maryland, succeeding T.J. Hughes, who was recently named Truist's Head of Enterprise Payments Sales. Bartlett, a longtime Truist leader and native of Baltimore, brings extensive commercial banking experience and deep knowledge of the region. He will lead Truist’s business banking strategy across Maryland and Greater Washington. Bartlet, who joined Truist in 2011, will focus on strengthening client relationships, accelerating growth and supporting teammates and communities across the market.
